How to get MOH Licence in Fujairah?
With the help of this service, medical facilities can get the license they need to operate and offer medical care in the United Arab Emirates. These facilities include hospitals of various sizes and specializations, public and specialty clinics, medical centers, diagnostic and rehabilitation centers, emergency and home health centers, fertility and recovery centers, and one-day surgical centers.
Procedure
- Create an account with a username and password on the MOHAP website or mobile app in order to apply for e-services.
- Submit a request to obtain the health facility license.
- Submit the application of initial inspection
- After the initial inspection is granted, submit the study the geometric plan application and pay the associated fees.
- The first authorization for the inspection will be given after the site plan is authorized.
- Apply for initial license approval and pay the application fee
- Obtain the necessary licenses from the appropriate government agencies, like the Civil Defense
- Apply for licensing of the medical staff (doctors, technicians, nurses)
- After the final inspection is approved, submit the remaining paperwork and pay the license fees.
- The license will be sent by email and granted via the e-system. The website offers a download option as well.
Eligibility Requirement
- Must be UAE citizen.
- Valid passport copy of the owner
- Family book copy of the owner
- Valid Emirates ID copy
- Recent passport-size photo with white background
- The owner needs to fill out a character reference form (found in Customer Happiness Centers). Procedures for licensing will start up again once the relevant authority gives its approval.
- The facility must be owned entirely (100%) by the UAE national owner in order for a trade license to be approved, or he must own 51% of a limited liability company.
- Should the establishment be situated on upper levels of a structure, an electric lift ought to be provided.
- Adherence to engineering specifications and requirements for health facility licensure (healthcare facility rules).
- The owner has six (6) months from the date of initial approval to fulfill all technical requirements and conditions in order to get the MOHAP license. The initial approval is only given to fulfill the requirements needed to receive the license; it does not indicate approval to practice or run the facility.
