Blood Donation Eligibility

  • Blood donor should be in good general health condition at the time of blood donation.
  • Age should be between 18- 65 years.
  • Weight not less than 50 Kg.
  • Blood pressure should be between 50/ 100 to 90/ 180 (mm Hg).
  • Pulse rate between 50-100 pulses/minute.
  • Body temperature not more than 37.5°C.
  • Blood donor must present their valid Emirates ID.
  • Donor will undergo preliminary interview with a physician, The donor will be asked about the medical, medication and the travel history to the Malaria endemic countries.

How to Donate Blood in Sharjah?

  • Complete the required questionnaire, and sign the Informed Consent form.
