As part of a deal with Nakheel, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will now accept payments made with a nol card at Palm Monorail train stations on the Palm Jumeirah.
While in Dubai for the recent MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition 2022, RTA and Nakheel signed their agreement.
Dubai Investments Park and China-owned CRRC Zhuzhou signed two more agreements with the RTA to improve public transportation in Dubai.
“The Palm Monorail’s trip from The Palm Gateway to Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, Atlantis and The Pointe offers visitors an experience to savour the stunning views of the Palm Jumeirah and its scenic landscape,” noted Omar Khoory, Chief Hospitality and Assets Officer, Nakheel.
Passengers will appreciate being able to pay for multiple rides on the monorail using their NOL card.
“We are excited to be extending The Palm Monorail’s world-class services to Nol card users across the UAE. As the first and only monorail in the Middle East, The Palm Monorail reflects Nakheel’s commitment to increase connectivity between key destinations in Palm Jumeirah as well as deliver customer convenience,” said Omar Khoory.
The Palm Monorail now accepts the Dubai nol card.
Users of the Palm Monorail can now use nol cards thanks to an agreement made between RTA and Nakeel. The Palm Monorail operated by Nakheel is now accepting nol cards, according to Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The deal was inked earlier this year at the MENA Transport and Congress Exhibition 2022.

“The Palm Monorail’s trip from The Palm Gateway to Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, Atlantis and The Pointe offers visitors an experience to savour the stunning views of the Palm Jumeirah and its scenic landscape,” he added.
“This initiative supports the efforts to integrate the public transport networks and offer seamless mobility journeys for riders all over Dubai. The new effort will increase public transportation’s connection by enabling consumers to access different services with a single card.
RTA also announced initiatives to recognize Public Transport Day, which will award 15 winners with nol points and several other gift cards, beginning this month.
